Lost & Found Sound: Stories from the CZU Lightning Complex Fires
In the summer of 2020, a series of wildfires tore through the Santa Cruz Mountains, scorching more than 80,000 acres and destroying over 900 homes. In the aftermath, the production team behind The Kitchen Sisters Present spoke with survivors about what they lost in the flames — and what they found in the ashes.
As a Kitchen Sisters intern, I helped weave the dozens of interviews we recorded into a 40-minute documentary. I also helped produce a shorter, audio-only version of the doc for NPR’s Morning Edition.

From Past to Present: Celebrating One Hundred Years of Northfield’s League of Women Voters
Founded in 1920, the League of Women Voters is a non-profit, nonpartisan political organization dedicated to helping voters make informed decisions about major public policy issues at all levels of government.
In collaboration with Northfield Public Broadcasting and the Carleton College History Department, I directed/produced a short film about Northfield, MN’s local League of Women Voters chapter. The film explores the formation of the chapter, the challenges its faced over the past century and its present-day goals, as told by current and former League members.
